Freshwater Coldwater System.
Ah yes, the poor lowly goldfish condemned to a tiny bowl and some flake food every once in awhile.  NO WAY!!!  A freshwater coldwater system can be an amazing display aquarium.  Fish with all shades of gold, red, orange, black, white, silver, and blue.  All different shapes and sizes, long flowing fins, short and stubby, bubble eyes, pearl scales, there is too much to mention for the coldwater tanks and we still haven't gotten to the non-goldfish livestock available!

A properly done coldwater system will provide goldfish with plenty of room to grow and with high water quality and an oxygen rich environment.  Goldfish and Koi tend to have a long life expectancy when kept in proper conditions, so a large aquarium is recommended for the coldwater system to allow for growth especially in Koi, Comets, and Shubunkins.  Plant matter will make up the majority of the diet for most of these fish, so a brightly lit tank is a good idea for some plant growth as well as to show off these beautiful animals.

The freshwater coldwater display is an excellent choice for a relaxing fluid atmosphere.  The bright metallic colours of the fish against a calm natural backdrop makes for a fine compliment to any quiet room with a calm vibe.
